Positive Energy behind Permaculture Stories

In the afternoon, speakers at the Water Room had given 2 very diverse experience to the audience related to permaculture, one conducted by Joel Lee on 'Transition of Enterprise into Permaculture Inspired Business', and the other by Mary Lee on 'Positive Energy - the Human Stories'. Joel, as a hotel owner, had demonstrated how permaculture can be implemented in a commercial level that can reach the mass public, and most importantly, shared his setbacks and challenges during this eco-transition with us. With ignorance from the government and many tourism associations being the main hindrance, he is hoping for a better green star rating for hotels in the future, or even 'permaculture' ratings, perhaps not only to hotels but to other products and services too.

This is followed by another speaker Mary, a clinical psychologist, who guided us through a more spiritual journey by connecting everyone in the room through the sharing of permaculture experience and emotions. She carefully led us into being aware of our senses and emotions, opening up ourselves and sending out positive energy while receiving those from others. The session ended with Joel concluded his sharing by beautifully singing us Max Ehrmann's Desiderata: A Poem for a Way of Life - ' You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should'.
