It has been a honored tradition of gift presentation for the new year Permaculture Convergence, this year Ms Rosemary Morrow has presented the natural seed pots to Mr Andy Brown, Executive Director, Kadoorie Farm and Botainic Garden and marked the the opening of the 4 days event on 19 Nov 12 – 22 Nov 12.

 

During the Day 1 of 1st SE Asian Bioregional Permaculture Convergence, Kieth Mikkelson of Aloha House, Philipines, shows how permacutlure practices work together serving for both the environment and the people. As a child caring, child placing and community serving agency, it supplies staff and children with organic food and sell it as product to raise funding for the NGO. All food are grown through different approach includes livestock integration, acquoponics and networked biodiversed swales which providing edge effect. Farmers internship program allow allows farmers to learn through daily farming.
